This app is one of the best protractors I've come across- when you hold it up against a line, it's accurate to within ~1 degree. But more than that, it's the colorful interface reminiscent of Apple's compass app that won me over.
I found a great working level/angle finder that is accurate. Took downloading 4 other apps and deleting them before finding this one. Closest app to trusting a real quality level I find yet. Good job app makers thanks
This is a great little app. Thanks for making it free! iPhone 5s IOS 7.1.1
I was about to purchase a $30 angle gauge from a woodworking store when I decided to give this a try. It works fine for my needs.
Excellent level and angle application. Even reads accurate with a protective rubberized case on iPhone. Often compare it with a 7 foot spirit level by placing it on top or on the side for vertical applications and so far they always read exactly the same. Use it a lot and I am very pleased.
So I'm ordering a knife sharpening system, which benefits from being able to check ACTUAL angles vs the angle markings provided on the sharpening system. So I downloaded this free app: It's very accurate and stable, even showing .1 degree changes. It has a very clean interface. It uses either the side of the phone or the back of the phone to calculate angles from (selectable by an on-screen icon). It isn't flooded with adds. It's very responsive. I can't find a single complaint at all. It's not a trigonometry/calculating app, but I don't desire/need that. I was immediately impressed, compared it to other free apps, then deleted those other free apps: for the above reasons TOGETHER, this, to me, is the superior app of those I compared. Thank you developer! A surprisingly great, non-annoying free app.
The app loads horizontally, which I prefer, but it only loads in one orientation. You can't rotate it to the most convenient side. I prefer the volume slider on top and this app loads with the volume slider on the bottom.
A zeroing capability is not present, which is sad because it would be so easy to add. I'll change my rating when this basic feature finds its way to the product.
