Android TV is free iOS app published by Google LLC

The same app on Android is able to adjust the volume, on iOS the feature is just completely missing. Maybe it’s not possible to make the physical phone buttons send volume control. If that’s the case then just add some buttons on screen.

Needs support for the iPhone XS Max sized screen so there aren’t black bars at the top and the bottom. I also think a notification should pop up that can be typed into whenever you are entering text into a text box on the android tv kind of how the Apple TV makes text entry easy. That would be handy.

Horrible. Not updated. Super slow just like google tv on the Sony Bravia tv.

My hicense controller died and I couldn't use my android tv features. This app helped tremendously. It connected quickly and allows me to utilize all the android features. Very little to no lag. All apps are not perfect, I will this one would give me more options such as volume and input.

The remote app keeps failing to connect to my Mi Box after upgrading to recent Android TV OS. It has been like this ever since. Trying to contact support but didn’t receive any support whatsoever. This is bad for a reputable brand like Google.

I recently purchased a Xiaomi Mi Box S and while I have zero complaints regarding that product (especially considering that generous price bargain for a capable 4K streaming box with Chromecast Ultra), Google's remote app for its Android TV platform is in dire need of several optimizations, in terms of visual scaling, performance smoothing, and seamless networking. HELP!! Google, need some attention here...

The app works fairly well, but it’s so limited in functionality that it’s not very useful.

ALL our TV’s are Sony/Android. Whatever you type on the keyboard appears twice on the TV. Whatever you paste into the keyboard appears twice on the TV. It has been requested this to be fixed over a year ago. Last update was 8 months ago, with no fix for this issue. It is obvious by now that Google is not interested in making this functionality work for iPhone users. This is why I purchased 7 Apple TV’s today and plan no longer to invest in the Android space...

Every time, literally every time I open the app to change the channel/app/anything, I have to enter a code to connect. The other iPhone with same app does not. 1 Star until bugs are addressed and fixed.
