Great QBank, annoying limitations.

Really enjoying this QBank but app suffers from some annoying limitations that have been mostly noted; in addition: 1. You can’t actually open the knowledge app from the qbank for some reason like on other platforms. 2. When you close and reopen the app, for some reason the questions gets reformatted past the screen limit. Rotating the screen fixes the issue. 3. The app freezes often when you attempt to define or copy text.

Please let us change the font size. I cannot be alone in wanting to be able to make it bigger sometimes or want white font on a black background.
Four star Qbank, three star app

The AMBOSS Qbank is a great resource. It is especially good as a supplement to identify your weak points and see some lower-yield material that still might pop up on examinations. It can be pretty nitpicky, but it’s overall a stellar reinforcement tool. You can go through the questions very quickly if you want—which is a big plus when you’re busy on the wards and only have a few minutes here and there. It looks sleek. On the other hand...I used the Qbank for one shelf and then started sessions for a second shelf exam. I am already seeing a lot of repeat questions. It’s hugely disappointing. I wouldn’t want to be seeing questions a third or fourth time by Step 2, especially when the initial explanations and graphics aren’t as comprehensive as UWorld, i.e. worth reading again. Instead, the meat and potatoes for the explanations are largely tied to the AMBOSS library, which is unfortunately contained in a separate app. This makes the experience pretty clunky when you are using the Qbank on mobile. I found myself trying to avoid opening cards just because they were hard to navigate on mobile. That isn’t the only problem with the app. The Qbank app lacks many of the other features found in the website version. You have to start a new session by going to the webpage. You can’t highlight. Labs are annoying to open. The lightbulb bonus comments are hard to tap—I’ve accidentally opened a nearby library card instead many times. I think all medical students should try the Qbank. I wish I had considered it for Step 1, where it likely shines the most. Unlike Rx, it comes at things from a whole different angle from First Aid, which can be nice. You see a different set of images and different ways of stating buzzwords. Unlike UWorld, it’s easy to pick up and then put back down again quickly. And unlike Kaplan, it doesn’t get bogged down on minutiae. But until the Qbank is beefed up, it will only supplement, not supplant, the current leader UWorld.

qbank is excellent, but 1) shouldn’t have to tap twice to get to lab values, and 2) there should be an independent highlight function (not just a auto-highlight clues to the answer function). otherwise great functionality.

It was working really well before the update. Now it won't even open without crashing immediately. Am I the only one whose experiencing this? I was hoping there would be another update to fix it.

Guys you got a great Qbank and teaching medical resource , But I think you should make it to resemble the real exam .. the formats/fonts and the whole questions should be 100% identical to the Exam , Uworld is a more exam simulator Qbank because of that .. please make sure to update the platform so it looks identical to the exam and keep up the update for the questions so it really reflects the exam changes .. you have done a fantastic job and I’m pretty sure you’ll be a great contender soon !

Honestly all you would need to do along side UWorld. I found the questions and content way better organized in AMBOSS. This + Uworld is a recipe for keeping up in rotations!
