The game is written in Spanish, and is a great way to try to learn a little, as well as some extravagant vocabulary in the language. It's well put together and I greatly appreciate the artwork, and visuals. It definitely gets the imagination going. It soon might have you strategizing in your head... In Spanish that is.

No voy a decir mucho aparte de que estoy disfrutando mucho la lectura de este libro y espero que salgan mas parecidos. Enhorabuena a los creadores

This game has a very developed back story and characters, and the choose-your-own-adventure style is interesting. You pick up items along the way for the different battles. It was complex for me and took a little while to get into, but it's clearly well done and great for fans of fantasy games.

I love how every choice you make takes you on a different path in order to save the main characters from a terrible disease. Great storylines and integration. Definitely five stars.

Definitely the best book with the sharpest story, the most loveable characters and the greatest effects. It couldnt be any better than this.

Really love playing this game, makes me remember the endless nights of playing D&D at my friends house. In depth story and cause and effects for each action. Looking forward to making it deeper into the story line!

The digital gamebook genre has really taken off on ios, from choose your own adventure games to modern spins on old classics.Ambar's fate is one of the few that both features a new story (not rehashed from a classic gamebook) and deeper gameplay mechanics than are found in physical gamebooks. You can choose from 2 classes, which completely changes the approach you will take while playing. There are stats and skills, which can open or closes different paths of progress. One of the most interesting is Perception-a high perception stat can open up new avenues to explore, with the skill system determining whether you can follow these new story threads.Graphically, the game is all text, but beautifully presented. The only reasons I haven't given this 5 stars is that the combat can be a bit difficult to grasp (it's explained, but a bit hard to figure out for the math-averse,like me),and a fair number of typos. If you enjoy digital gamebooks and want a fresh story instead of a rehash, this is a great pickup.
