Hate the light mode

I should not have to change my iOS mode in order to get the dark background mode because that changes all my other apps to the dark mode and my phone/iPad background. There should be an option within the Alexa app as to which mode you would like to use regardless of your operating system mode It seems like the developers took a shortcut on this update.
