My favorite music app

Pandora used to be my go to but I find myself using this app everyday. The ability to download songs, repeat my favs over and over is great. Boy I’ve been missing out. Every song I can think of is on here. And I swear if I search a song and it comes up “no results”, a few days later they put it on there!
Far more difficult interface than it needs to be

I love having the great selection of songs. However getting to the song I want is a struggle. Even if it was a song I played when I last used the app, it can be almost impossible to find. Even the search button gets hidden. What kind of sense is that?

Amazon encourages us to buy lots of Alexa devices even selling six packs of the dot products then only lets my family stream on one device at a time. At least it used to let us stream on to echo devices but not on the phone then an echo device. Now the service won’t even let you stream on multiple echo devices. It’s really frustrating to spend money on a piece of hardware only to then be told you have to spend even more money on top of your yearly membership.
Decent but Offline mode is frustrating.

This app’s biggest downside is offline mode. I don’t understand the purpose of it and how it relates to playlists and other things. It’s cool that you can import playlists from iTunes but why do they only show up in offline mode? If you want to add a song to a playlist while it’s currently playing in offline mode it says that feature isn’t available in offline mode. What the heck? I get it that you’d want something to show only songs available when you’re offline but what that has anything to do with playlists makes no sense. If the idea is that this is supposed to replace Music on your phone then why make it harder to use your imported playlists?

Amazon doesn’t work with Echo??

The Amazon Music app is organized much better than the Amazon Alexa app. However, the Amazon Music app doesn’t let you stream to Echo!! ?? Lame. Spotify integrates this perfectly, but Amazon Music won’t work with its own Echo device ???

I love Amazon Music! It has lots of music to choose from as well as no ads. I also like the fact that you can follow along with the lyrics. It's another perk for my Prime membership and I use it often! It's my favorite music app!
