Great App and Convenient

EmanSD

The pagination and visuals are great for a phone app. I use this all the time

Why always searching/scrolling ?

L C 37

Since latest update, when app is open and u are reading; the app is scrolling/ searching/downloading; not sure the term. But it eats my battery !!! Please fix/ update.

Good

Good app for reading books

Still a 5, despite one chronic problem

Dr Doogie2

No matter which browser I use running Mac OS, occasionally text will either repeat from one page to the next, or will drop out entirely. Typically 4 or 5 lines at a time. If I feel it’s something critical, I will change the font size and then I can see what’s missing. It happens using Chrome, Safari and Firefox.

Love reading without having to have books everywhere but…

katjustkatt

I read on an iPad at night and if I fall asleep without closing the app down, it completely drains the battery.

Good Read

DGOLLIE

This book was a good read but I felt a little let down with the ending. I felt the author rushed it. Would like to have had more post event details. All in all I did enjoy it though.

Battery power

I appreciate this app. It’s easy and I can access almost any book I want with a touch. But this app KILLS my phone battery. It’s annoying

Love it…needs some improvement tho

I don’t have a problem with anything outside of reading the actual book..I think the layout is great and it’s easy to find what you’re looking for. But for me, every time I leave the app on a certain page of a book and open the app expecting to be on the same page, I end up three chapters ahead of where I left off. I find this extremely annoying and it only happens every so often but when it does, it’s very hard to get back to where I was. Otherwise, I love this app and it’s really helpful—it saves you the trouble of carrying a book around. I love how the Kindle app is actually in the device and everything is in one place. Anyway, I hope this problem will eventually get fixed. Thanks so much

App causes battery drainage

Mendomama9

The Kindle app has a recent and serious bug that blocks iPhones from going into Auto-lock or “sleep” after a period of idleness. This causes battery battery drainage and other problems and makes the app unusable for those who read before bed, off and on throughout the day, etc. This problem only occurs with the Kindle app and with no other apps and needs to be addressed by Amazon.

It’s awesomely awesome
