Better support for dark mode needed

wehokev

I actually like the Kindle app, a lot. I think it is better than Apple’s native book app. There are two things I would like for Amazon to improve, one major and one minor. I use the iOS app mostly at night when my Kindle would otherwise give off too much bluish light. So, I have a dark background in the Kindle apps on both my iPhone and iPad. Even with the dark background enabled, when add a note, a bright white screen appears and I’m subjected to the intense light I was trying to avoid at bed time. I’d also like to see the prompt to sync to the furtherest location read appear quicker.

external keyboard notes bug

Doodaddy

I use an external keyboard to add notes to books. When I use the arrow keys to edit my notes, the pages of the book (behind the note window) flip around and the cursor does not move. Please fix the notes entry for users with external keyboards. P.S. Sorry to use a one-star review to file a simple bug report. But... you don’t have a way to file a bug report. So, your fault again.

Inspiring

Kindle is an amazing, versatile e-reader. I’d recommend it to anyone.

Horribly Glitchy After Most Recent Update

Kelthys

Books (randomly) won’t open, occasionally get a black screen when attempting to open the app.

Ok I guess

Very is to read font and format, I don’t feel overwhelmed because there is so little on the page. Very nice

To Kindle or Not to Kindle

I’ve had kindles for over 10 years. I love my Kindle. I’ve bought all of our grands their first Kindle. I appreciate the convenience of owning a Kindle, slip it into my purse and it’s easily available. I d/l books from our local library, I still think it’s funny that there’s a waiting list for virtual books, lol.

Can’t purchase books

kbmombmom

It’s so inconvenient not to be able to purchase the books after read samples. Other than that it’s a good app.

Book Arrangement

This app offers poor choices for arranging books. Does not let you arrange them the way you want as iBooks does.

Gives you books, seamlessly, wherever, even offline

One of my most used apps for years. It removes the need to hold physical books open. Sync’s well with kindle device. Text looks good overall compared to other apps. Highlighting is very fast, with color options.
