App doesn’t prevent phone sleep mode

Recently when using the Fire App Remote, I kept losing connection (movie shut off) because my iPhone phone would go into sleep mode. I checked the app settings and the iPhone settings for an “override” setting but no luck. Very Frustrating!!!!

It is now my favorite thing ever! Who knew a $40 purchase could make me so happy! lol I love the convenience. Alexanis my new BFF. Everything is so easy. I love the app for my phone what controls my firestick. I've lost that remote SO many times!!

If I could give this app 0 stars I would. My remote just randomly stopped working one day so I had to refer to the app. It constantly disconnects, half the time it can't find my fire stick, when I'm scrolling on my main screen it will start scrolling on it's own. This app is absolutely horrible and I have no choice but to deal until I get a new remote!

I lost my fire stick remote and I discovered that you can use your phone as a replacement. It was fast and easy to use!

It would be a nice solid app, but for one serious flaw: the mousepad interface is very sensitive and difficult to control at a usable speed. Could be addressed by simply adding a speed adjustment.

This app has failed to connect to my fire stick so many times. I have to delete and reinstall the app to get it to work again. I haven’t been a fan of the fire stick since I first got one. I’ve had to reboot the stick many times and the app doesn’t work properly either. Roku is much more responsive and the remote app works beautifully.

At first, I enjoyed the swipe to move control pad, but that was before I used it with silk browser and Firefox. The swiping becomes hard to control, clunky, and too fast. I recommend that you create a setting where users can change from the swiping to arrows, like on the actual remote. Thank you!

Nice if you are in the app

App controls the Fire TV fine but makes the Fire TV go to the home screen every time you lock the phone or get out of the app. Makes it unusable.

Good app. Simple to use. Works great about 80 percent of the time, the other 20 percent, it has difficulty connecting.
