More biomes

JEDill

I love this game. It is easy to learn, hard to master. Simple, yet elegant. It is my favorite game and definitely worth the $5.00. The only problem I have is that there are not enough biomes. My favorite biome so far is the dunes, because I like wall riding. After a while it gets kinda boring only being able to ride through 3 biomes. If only there were more...

Great Game But...

I really have enjoyed this and Alto’s Adventure. They really are beautiful games, fun and usually my go to. Unfortunately, I’m getting fed up. This isn’t an irritation about “just not being able to beat a level,” but it’s not fun when a game makes you die (from falls) inconsistently and doesn’t actually give you opportunities to meet goals and move on. This has been noted by other users that I’ve spoken to and they have experienced the same thing. An example would be having wall rides be a part of a goal and there being absolutely no walls to ride over the course of multiple hours spent playing. It really kills the fun vibe of the game and quite honestly makes me not want to play anymore. I understand making goals difficult to attain and working for them, but it’s really not necessary to make them seem impossible and unattainable.

I loved altos adventure to the point of playing the game for days after I was finished with it. I was hoping for a new experience with altos odyssey but it’s basically a copy and paste of the original with the only difference being new ‘biomes’. I can justify paying this amount of money for altos adventure as it was a brand new game developed from scratch, but this is literally the same as the previous one! Same characters, same items, same physics. On top of that odyssey has a lot of bugs. Even the music was better on the first version of the game. Overall disappointed.

Super meh.

I thought this game was going to be exciting and changing from other reviews. Literally all you can do in this game is jump. It’s basically a paid version of flappy birds. I don’t get why this is rated so well.

IPhone X Wingsuit always accidentally activates.

Mikeofwhite

No matter where I press on the left side of the screen, the wingsuit activates even if I’m not pressing the button.

Fun but glitchy

indiasoup

Lemur leaping during tornado jumps, running on air like there’s an invisible vine, black screen and then player crashing. Crashing when angles are perfectly fine for smooth landings.

Love the game but impossible to play (with sound) on a plane

E46Hall

I really love the Alto games. I play them constantly. But I discovered this game is impossible to play on a plane unless you turn the music off! There's a chime in the background music that matches EXACTLY the tone of the flight attendant call button on most flights. Everything time that little DING! happens I find myself expecting an announcement from the pilot or something. The result is so distracting I had to turn off the lovely soundtrack.

The best game ever

This game is incredibly fun. The great graphics and addictiveness of this game really sucked me in. This was a five dollars well spent.

Great Game

Alto’s Odyssey is the perfect sequel to Alto’s Adventure. Each new feature enhances the classic game beautifully, without complicating the gameplay at all. (But I do miss the llamas.) It is one of those games I will have for a very long time. I did find one minor flaw, however. Whenever I pickup a radio, the crates don’t fall fast enough or far enough away for me to actually collect them. Besides that, this game hits it out of the park.

More of a reskin than a sequel

Aurileano

This is basically the same game as its predecessor just moved to an (admittedly pretty) setting. A few small improvements but also is objectively worse in a few ways - you can’t choose which way to flip and it looks like they went for a freemium model before removing the in app purchases at the last minute. Not a bad game but not worth the $5 if you’ve got the first Alto game.
