Awesome game, one of my favorites, are you ever going to update it with new levels or make changes or is this the end? No reinvestment in an app that surely has made nice revenue to give your supporters some love? Great game, just bored with it now and was hoping you would refresh it eventually!

Good game

Really good game would be better if they added skiing

From a person who doesn’t like infinite runners

Edit 2/13/18: today I finally completed all 180 goals. I began November of 2017; it took me roughly four months of casual gameplay to complete this masterpiece. Just in time for Alto’s Odyssey, too! Games rarely hold my attention for so long; if I complete a game at all, it’s usually because it was short and sweet. This one wasn’t short or sweet — it was a long, breathtaking experience. Needless to say, I still thoroughly recommend this game. — In games, a key component every developer, especially those of the infinite runner genre, know: in order to captivate your player base, you must be able to distinguish between difficulty and challenge. I have never been completely into infinite runner because borderline difficulty seems to be a theme among them, to the point where I didn’t feel any sense of progression; however, as with all games that captured my attention, the aesthetics got me interested in this one. What’s addicting about Alto’s Adventure is not the difficulty, nor the atmosphere or aesthetics; it’s that perfectly balance of all three. The atmosphere and music make each run truly feel like a journey; there’s a sense of exhilaration and freedom that few infinite runners have. Most infinite runners are about avoiding death first and high scores later; this game tilts the “dying” portion in your favor (meaning, you won’t die a lot) which gives you room to enjoy the atmosphere. I can’t praise it enough and yes, I paid a full $4.99 with my own money. I’m a student working seasonal jobs like dog sitting, which you don’t get often; I earned probably $50 total these past few months and spent a whole $5 chunk on this game — and it feels worth it.

pretty, but boring.

Crystal_Tears

its a very neat and polished game. the graphics are amazing and exceptionally smooth. however, its dull. it appears to be the same thing every round because of the huge hills, and the whole thing just goes slowly, to the fade in/fade out transitions, to the actual gameplay, which negates the ‘addictive’ nature most endless runner games share. but, the relaxing, zen flow of the game is nice when its not adding on to its slow roll.

♥️???

This game it’s phenomenal and by the way for those who don’t know the wingsuit activates and deactivate by pressing harder the touchscreen.

Amazing but few bugs

What is this sorcery

First off, this game is AMAZING and AWESOME. The graphics are great. The gameplay is easy. But the bugs. The wing suit is so bad. It activates for you and ends up killing you.

Does not deserve the bad reviews.

I’ve seen a couple reviews about the wingsuit activating and deactivating randomly. Let’s clear that up. The wingsuit is toggled through 3D Touch, so when you press hard on the screen it toggles it. There’s also a setting under Settings to turn this behavior off. There will also be a button on the right side of the screen that also toggles it, so turning off the setting will not stop you from using the wingsuit. (The wingsuit is available after level 30, so if the setting isn’t there when you start, maybe it’ll appear once you unlock the wingsuit.) I wish Snowman would reply to the reviews to clear their name, but it doesn’t look like that will happen. That being said, of course I think Alto’s Adventure is a beautiful game. I’m not usually very fond of arcade-like games, but this one has stuck with me for a long time. You’ve probably already heard of the graphics/artwork. It’s also a well-polished game and feels good to play, especially with friends. Look out for new games by Snowman because the previews on their website look good. Development for those games was probably funded by this game’s sales.

Nearly Perfect

Amazing game - simple, addictive, relaxing and beautiful to look at and listen to. This used to be a 5 star game for me until an update caused the wingsuit to suddenly start turning on and off by itself when activated. I believe it is in an attempt to prevent you from crashing into the ground when you backflip too closely, however it has caused me to crash far more often than it has prevented, and is now actually hindering my level progression when it comes to wingsuit challenges. If the devs could please address this bug(?) this game would be 5 stars in my book. Thanks!

A boring groundhog day

You're having a good game, then the game ends due to a random new element - and then you go back to the boring beginning.

I rarely play games... but...

RVC-FR

I rarely play games on my iPhone... very rarely. Usually my nephew would download a game and I would randomly try it at some point. This time was different, Alto seemed so pretty that I decided to download it and try it. This is a gorgeous game for the iPhone! It's just beautifully done. The landscapes are beyond beautiful and the game is very entertaining and fun. Plus, using my iPhone X the iPhone gives a Taptic kickback every time you run into different things in the skiing course. Great job!
