UX buggy, good classes

I was surprised by how buddy the app was - buttons and screens freezes, and bummed I couldn't download videos from a series for offline use. Good content, really loves classes by Meghan Currie.

Absolutely love this app. Such an amazing yoga/strength experience for an extremely low cost compared to the in person experience these days running upwards of $20 a class. I can choose whatever I feel like doing that day and with the instructor variety I am rarely disappointed. Overall Briohny and Ashkeg Galvin are my favorites and better than most studio experiences I have had. I have progressed in my yoga ability exponentially since utilizing this app thanks to these instructors and their classes ability to push your limit and experience level. The only thing I wish I could do is run through a fast preview of the class like you can on YouTube so I can see if I am in to what that class has to offer me that day.
Great Yoga & Fitness App

I've been using AloMoves (prior CodyApp) over 2 years and it's fantastic! It provides some of the best yoga (and other fitness) classes available. You get to practice with talented yoga teachers like Briohny Smyth, Ana Forrest, Sri Dharma Mittra, Eoin Finn, Janet Stone and more. You get inversion classes from Dylan Werner and others. There's an option to connect with the other users there. And lots of other great features. One of my FAVORITE things is you can also access classes via desktop/laptop so you get the big screen. And you can download classes on your phone for times you are traveling. They are continually adding features/ improvements and so there were just a couple of days it was hard to sign in (as one reviewer mentioned). But that was quickly fixed and has not happened since. For me they have always been very responsive when I need help. Highly recommended!
Videos keep freezing

There seems to be an issue with videos stalling on the app. They will get about 1/3 through then just freeze. They work fine on my computer but not the app, so I’ve had to stop in the middle of a lot of my workouts to switch to my tablet or computer. I’ve avoided using the app to work out as a result.
No Apple Health Connect

Great app, however, does not connect with Apple Health to track your progress.

Great instructors, but really uneven app performance — super buggy. I see old notes from the developer that stats and calendar features will be in an update, but the wait is getting to be too much. When it comes down to it, Yoga Glo has them beat on functionality. Hands down.
Love the classes but app needs some updating

I agree with everyone who has said the classes are great but the app needs some work. If I want to stream from the app it’s fine but I can’t get it to cast to my chromecast. They also haven’t updated the app to include playlists and the videos I save or complete on my computer don’t sync to app. I know it’s a work in progress so looking forward to when everything works seamlessly.

Welcome to corporate yoga. Loved this app while it was CodyApp, before it was bought out by Alo. When the lawsuits were happening months ago, I became disgusted at how the company and its ambassadors treated those who were not a part of their exclusive, egotistical, and greedy world. Alo represents everything that yoga ISN’T. Alo’s company practices disrupt the nature of the 8 limbs of yoga. Don’t give into this money-hungry, image-dependent, whitewashed company. There are soooo many other apps and websites out there where you can maintain a home practice that is pure.
