Wanted to use this app to create an inventory list for moving, but I couldn't even login! I don't know why these company's put out apps that don't work. What a poor reflection on your business!
Figured out the account issue

It turns out if your password is not 6-10 characters for the Allstate.com website, this app will not recognize the password (even though the Allstate app does) The only way I got it to work was to go to the actual website and change my password to meet that criteria. But even then it was still pointless because it doesn't pull your policy information or agent information
Nice-Just what I was looking for

Synced right with my Allstate account. Logged out and was able to log right back in. Can take pics and list all my property and its value. It suggests you can also make other list like shopping, gift, and vacation plans. Haven't figured out that part yet but it's not vital right now. Only question is if it syncs with my Allstate account why do I have to enter my agent and policy info by hand? Why didn't it sync that also? Just wondering.

This is not ready for the market. Clearly not well tested by Allstate developers/contractors. Half-baked. If this is a version of what they use commercially in the field, this is a non-starter. The objective of home inventory is so simple. 1-make profile 2-make rooms 3-make tags 4-take pictures within room designations 5-apply tags and other documentation attachments 6-auto-sync to cloud 7-online, in table form, quickly edit/add captured info and attach links to OEM site or online storage folders 8-export to album or database file for sharing/redundancy. Also, would be nice to grant shared access in ‘social’ style to get inputs from others.

It's a great app for keeping a record of your belongings visually as well as monetary value & date of purchase etc very helpful for weather damage, theft, divorce or will's & easy to use

The Allstate Digital Locker is probably the easiest to use app I have ever used. It is very intuitive. I have had no questions due to it's simple design. It organizes all home related property by room and supports related digital invoices for valuations. I highly recommend this product if one needs to inventory a home.
Useless — will not accept videos

The best way (for both the insured AND the insurance company) to document items is through a video, which can include dictation about various items. No dice with this rotten app, however, as it only accepts photos. Allstate, you can do better.
