Made nearly useless

I’ve been consistently using AllRecipes for probably around a decade. I even have recipes published on it. The latest app change which took away notes and PARTICULARLY the ability to view your saved recipes by collection is imbecilic. I have a great deal of time invested in AR so I’m grudgingly using the website when absolutely necessary, but AR is losing a lot of ad revenue from me since I’m no longer using the app practically daily.

Love the variety and user comments. Would be nice if the shopping list and favorites features worked off-line so I can access them when I'm in a grocery store where there is poor internet reception. Directions for some recipes aren’t loading and I need to go to a web browser to see them. There are also recipes I can see in a browser that don’t exist in the app. Finally, I’ll add a recipe to my favorites in a browser, and it won’t show up in my favorites on my app. This app needs some big time repairs!!

This was such a great app, I haven’t used it in a while and have been trying to log back in to search my favorites and have been unsuccessful. I tried changing my password twice and the app never accepts the new password. I can’t locate any help for the app. Please someone help with this. Thank your!

Can’t sign in

The app says my password is incorrect.I have reset it and tested it on a web browser so it seems there is something wrong with the app. Since I cannot access my account on this app it is worthless for me.

Going Backwards

I can’t fathom what went through the developers minds. Why would you REMOVE highly used features? No more collections, which was the only way to organize your recipes?? And recipe notes are gone too? And for the devs to say “oh but don’t worry, we’re still providing you the grand privilege of having the shopping list feature!!!” is so condescending and out of touch. Like how disconnected from your user base can you be? It’s been 3 months since you got rid of collections and notes. Look at the universally terrible feedback you’ve gotten. Your app has TANKED. Bring these features back already!

Unable to sign in AT ALL

I’m unable to sign in on the app, with a “oops. That’s not the right email or password. Try again” prompt. I figured that should be an easy fix, simply reset my password. NOPE! It’s not recognizing my new password either.

Update is Awful

Like other reviewers, I’ve been using this App for years. But it’s becoming increasingly unusable. The ability to review is gone (“I made it” is missing) and the recipe categories in my favorites are gone. And the app tends to crash or freeze up. It’s a shame, because I have a lot of fantastic recipes we’ve discovered & come to love, but the app needs a serious reboot.

Notes section on recipes got deleted

Not sure what version update it happened in but the Notes section for a recipe all got deleted and is no longer available. Frustrating to take the time to add these notes and then have them all deleted.

App no longer accepts login

I’ve been using this app for a few years and have loved it. After the last update, I was logged out of the app and cannot log back in. I’ve reset several times and it still will not let me log in. If this isn’t fixed I will delete the app. Great app that like so many others, has updated itself to trash.

Used to be great- useless now

Every time I sign in it says I have the wrong username or password. I reset my password. Still says it’s wrong. I try to create a new account with a new email. It’s says I already have an account with that email. I try to sign in and it sends me in circles. I can’t sign in on the website either. It’s not user error. I know how to type in my email and password. This app is useless.
