Worked, so I wanted to get the ads out of the way for a better experience. App would not let me use the “Plus“ upgrade link for a one time purchase to remove ads. I ended up unintentionally signing up for the “Premium” service. After biting the bullet an excepting the mishap I realized that the “premium” service was misrepresented in the advertising . Several issues manifested, I was surprised that a “premium” service had so many issues. Here are a few: The app would not allow me to stop using High definition after the upgrade. I would change settings to low-res and the app would change it back automatically. Ok… so this causes the app to be unusable for my use as I do not have the bandwidth for the app to work properly using hi-res. When it switches to hi-res the stream freezes and completely looses connectivity. I should be able to keep the setting at the “Basic” setting. Also the ads claiming for longer recording “ up to 120 seconds” are deceptive, perhaps not intentionally, but I noticed I had no control over the length of recordings for the motion activated recording. As soon as the app doesn’t see motion it stops recording immediately. I have loads… Really, loads of 3 - 5 second clips in the cloud data base for a 5 minute single incident , this makes it impossible to thread together the video and to interpret for proper security footage. If it were 120 second recordings I would only have to deal with 2-3 clips. This “could be” a really great “Premium” service on the app if it was polished up a bit. To be candid, this app feels undone and the monthly subscription fee is ridiculous considering how it doesn’t deliver like a security app should. Other services on the market charge less, provide ecosystems that work properly, and some even provide hardware.

Yes I have the Alfred camera on guided access and it is plugged into a charger and in an area with a strong Wi-Fi signal. The darn thing loses connection for no apparent reason. I am fed up and will buy a Wi-Fi camera instead.

Looks like to pull in the best resolution and to zoom one would have to pay. Fair enough !
