Rogue Ninja Evolved

NSException

I've thought for years that Rogue Ninja was one of the best roguelike games in the App Store, but ultimately success was largely determined by luck. One playthrough would hand you amazing gear on the first level; the next would doom you to starvation. Alchemic Dungeons is the spiritual successor to Rogue Ninja, and it succeeds amazingly where its predecessor failed. Rather than stumbling across finished products, you gather raw materials and decide whether to mix simple potions, forge equipment, craft powerful one-shot spells, or fashion modest but permanent gear enchantments. It's still fun, it's still difficult, but now it's actually fair.

Great rogue-like!

RenegadeScar

This game is great. Some of the English could use a little work, but other than that it's one of the best rogue-likes on iOS. Definitely worth the buy; it has no IAPs or ads. I hope in the future we get more classes!

Fun little game!

Jinxtoyou

Great little game and it's very addicting. Remember to eat food!

I liked it

Monsteramazing5

Fun game, could use more fluid directional controls. Still old time feels

.99$ Ripoff

Keeps crashing. Not even worth the "amazing" 2.99 to .99 deal. Don't buy.

Very fun and interesting

CodeMoose

Instantly addicted to this game. The crafting adds some light and fun strategy to the game, and the differences between the characters keeps each run fresh and interesting. I found I could get sucked into this for a couple hours at a time, but it's also easy to pick up and play for 5 mins while you're waiting for your coffee. Turn off the game, and you can continue right where you left off later. It's geared more for the casual player, so if you're into hardcore Nethack or DCSS, you may find this too shallow. Otherwise, if you're looking for something fun and mildly challenging for your lunch break, you'll enjoy this a lot. Highly recommended for any casual gamer.

Unplayable

The directional controls are so bad that the game is unplayable. Neat idea for $1 game, but I dunno how this got released.

Much like pokemon mystery dungeon

Great once you get used to it

Herrobearkfkd

Great game once you get used to the controls. The game is built on a crafting system, which is a combo of luck-based drops and user-driven decisions. Lots of replayability. One thing to note is that once you die, you start over. It's not as bad as it sounds. Buy it - it's .99 cents.
