Alarm not ringing

I have an iphone and have had mornings where the alarm won’t ring but instead send multiple push notifications, which aren’t effective to waking up at all. I’ve tried researching the problem and it looks like it comes down the the app being terminated in the background. This could be due to an update, low power mode, a device reboot, or focus and screen time settings. Either way there’s too many things that could interfere with the app being alive in the background, making for an unreliable alarm. Just swiping off the app from the multitasking screen terminates it from the background too, which can stop the alarm even in the middle of it going off! Needs work.
Good but two things

One time I had an alarm that was set for 7 AM, it came, but every time I dismissed it another alarm which was the same alarm just kept going off every time I finished the task thing. Another glitch is, the dismiss will appear before the mission. Like, once you press it, the sound will stop and the mission will appear. I’m not sure if that’s intentional or not though. Rather than that, it’s really good

Alarmy is effective and easy to use. It allows me to select the level of difficulty in each task that has to be completed to dismiss the alarm and it also tells me the number of hours until my alarm goes off.
I hate this alarm!

...because it works. I use the picture mission to make me haul myself across the house to the only place where there are no windows, and so the lighting never changes. Important for the picture missions. Seriously, I probably owe my job to this alarm, I don’t wake up easily or quickly. The one thing I don’t like, is that it “requires” background app refresh to be on. I don’t like that, and I have found that it’s not true. So I turn on background refresh, set the alarm, then shut the background refresh back off. Never have problems with it.

I used to have a lot of trouble getting up in the mornings, and this app has helped tremendously! I’ve been using it for nearly two years now and highly recommend it. I also love being able to switch up my “mission” so I don’t get too comfortable and fall back into my old habits. Only drawbacks I’ve found in that time: the app will drain your battery when it’s on in the background, so I always close out and open it again the next evening. Also a few of the math problems are programmed with the wrong answer (maybe 3 out of the thousands I’ve answered, so it’s a really minor issue). All in all, if you’re having trouble getting up and are ready for a change, get this app!

I love this app it helped me wake up before my classes start but I can’t find where to turn it off at which is very annoying!!
