When it’s on, it turns up your phones volume to max, and to make sure you get up they make you open the app to turn it off lol.

I both love and hate this app. It’s the only thing that gets me up in the morning which is very good but at the same time my sleep schedule causes my body to despise this thing. I dread the nights I go to sleep cause I know this alarm will be the thing to wake me up on time and finally get my life in order so guess what screw the developers for making such an amazing app! You genius mf’s thank you for this app I really like it and recommend it

You took away my science news section which was the only one worth reading and you added horoscopes… The year is 2022, Alarmy, why are you going backwards? Bring it back and ditch the superstition section

This app could actually be incredible and so it hurts me to give it a 2 star rating because… every so often it just decides not to go off. Or even worse, sometimes it goes off two hours after I’ve woken up and I can’t turn it off when I drive without deleting the app. Alarms really have one job, make a noise at a time I choose. It can’t always guarantee that and so it’s unusable.

I used to be wake for work after sleeping through my alarms. After searching and searching, I found Alarmy. Now I have an alarm set up to only turn off when I scan a QR code (in my bathroom) to ensure I’m up. I do wish the “premium” membership was closer to $0.99 a month, or even a flat fee to purchase the additional services. Overall though, the app is still pretty functional in free mode. The one major concern as of late is the massive privacy issues with this app. This app “phones home” to over 100 URLs per the App Privacy Report. Completely unnecessary for an alarm app. It also asks to track your location, microphone, and other features. The information collection from this app is super sketchy, so be very careful with what you give it access to. This app tends to drain a lot of battery if left in “background app refresh” mode. I hope in the future they take a bunch of this junk out.
