Combining the ancient Chinese game of Mahjong with an enchanting journey across Japan, Aki is easy to learn even if you still haven't mastered chopsticks, so don't hesitate to dive right in.
The principle is simple: you have a number of ivory tiles arranged on a beautiful Japanese backdrop. Your goal is to make all of the tiles disappear by matching them to similar tiles.
Aki is a casual game you can pick up and play whenever you want, yet dismiss quickly to take that incoming call. When you're ready to resume, tap the Aki icon and you're back where you left off!

The screen flashes a lot, and very often, the tile set that comes up bears no resemblance to what the selection screen said it should be, especially in the bonus games, and after you finish that game, the tile set that comes up for that game is different from what it initially was. No, I didn't accidentally scroll to a new game. How about if instead of breaking the game in a different way with every update, we just got some more tile sets?
The design of this game is very lovely. I've been a big fan of mahjong or taipai games ever since I discovered it on my computer 12 years ago. The game is very fun and casual. Great for when you have a few minutes here or there. The backgrounds are pretty and informative. The games have great replay value. By time you get through all the levels, you can start over. I love this game!
Have played all the tile sets. There are enough that you never get board playing the same ones. I have really had fun with game.
This is a great app. Has many levels of play with many tile formats to choose from.
