The best part about this game is the title screen. The in-game sprites are bland, but the controls are blander. Akane doesn't move with any fluidity. There are much better platformers available. M

It's free, the controls are smooth, and it's just a good mini-game when you have a few minutes to spare!

The gameplay itself is actually quite fun and I would have given it 4 or 5 stars but for one glaring flaw... The controls... I couldn't count the number of times one of the side arrows just stopped working mid-jump and led to me falling to my death... Unfortunately this leads to too many unfair deaths...

I love platform games, but this one's controls are not so great, which leads to bottomless pit deaths far too often. Also, I wish it didn't take 5 minutes to say "level complete". I just feel it doing that is wasted time.

Awful onscreen D-pad

Am I doing something wrong here? Sexed-up icon aside, the game has a nice retro style to it, and looked like it was going to be fun, but I found it unplayable with the onscreen D-pad on a 5th gen iPod Touch. It was unresponsive and nearly impossible to get her to do what I wanted with the thing, and if there's anything you need in an old-school platformer, it's good control. But there area lot of 5-star reviews here. Are people using sticks to play, or are my thumbs just fat or something?
