It is fun, but there is need for improvement. A single player mode against a computer would be nice. Maybe different ice backgrounds. The extra points and holes add a new twist to an old game though. the physics are close, but not quite there either. In the real game if you accidentally put your pusher down on the puck it stops. The puck travels smooth though. Using actual pushers is a blast!
Well the concept is good but it won't play! After you choose your mode and made your choice's noting happens when you hit play.
Initial run presented problem that other review described with regard to game not starting. Problem resolved itself after force quitting in switcher & relaunching. Sounds are satisfying and quasi-realistic. UI is straightforward & easy to use. Game has some physics quirks, but overall is a fun experience with the iPieces set. Enabling bonus points adds a rather unique twist to the otherwise standard air-hockey experience. I have yet to experiment with other air hockey apps, but I imagine the mini strikers should work in most apps that use finger control.
My so was so excited to play this game, but the app will not work! So frustrating!
Hanging out here in a blizzard in NJ...and after the hurricane, a fun game is hard to find! My 7 yr old and I are laughing and playing. Great fun for minimal money. Get BEHIND the puck and hang on to your little "man"-it moves fast and held our attention. The negative reviews all had poor spelling and grammar. Perhaps it wasn't the game that was the problem! We LOVED it and will buy another one!
