Fantastic app

Casioguy8

I use Teamviewer as well as Logmein but discovered that this little gem from Avatron really heads the pack. The only disadvantage, when compared with Teamviewer, is that it is a paid app if you intend to control your computer through the internet with your iPhone or iPad. Otherwise, I assure you it really deserves a 5-star rating for performance and ease of use. I had a small problem with my iMac not remembering the password and I got a really quick reply from Avatron support to solve that problem. A really really good buy. And, no, I don’t work for the developer. Just a happy customer.

Best control app

Its just amazing just amazing. Avatron this is the best app for controlling your mac thank you so much :)

Fantastic app when their servers are online.

I'd an extremely easy to use app that's lived up to the claim that it gets out of your way for incredible productivity. The backspace skips and takes some practice getting around it. I purchased a years worth of access for Air Connect but I haven't been able to log in for about a week now. Their servers have been offline, and my password isn't working. I can't seem to access the "forgot my password" site just to make sure. This downtime might pass, and I'd like to know when it would be back. Once their service is back online, I would strongly recommend this app to anyone who wants to go completely mobile on their iPad or iPhone.

App doesn't work

This app is terrible. Granted it's inexpensive, but it has never worked. I sent tech support an email and was assured that an update would be forthcoming. I've seen nothing yet. Don't waste your money.

Good idea but does not work and poor customer service

dsle

Hi, I really though I found it, I bought this app and the yearly subscription. Big waste of money!!! Server has been down most of the time, customer service states just a very few users are affected (really, come on from three computers and 8 iOS devices at home all of them have the same problems) not being able to login or having to login overtime you turn on a device, so no access to your Mac server (mac mini) when you are away from home. Also advertisement sent is misleading, making you buy some upgrade promising the holy grail……waste of time and money. This kind of behaviour should b e ban here at the apple store. Providers that promise something and don’t fulfil the expectations/promises should be ban and money should be returned to the buyers, just like that, providers will learn that they have to act and be serious about doing business.

Doesn't work.

Nothing else to say...

NONFUNCTIONAL: Connect servers down since Apr 27, 2015

UI Rockstar

EDIT: Avatron responded to my email in less than 24 hours (on Thanksgiving, to their credit) and is in the process of helping me troubleshoot. They have indicated that the blog post is very out of date, was not updated when it should have been, and that everything was resolved within a few days. I don't yet have Air Login up and running, but they're doing their best to help me so far. Preview review was: As the other reviews state, it doesn't work. There are no support articles on the developer's site for this product (only their other apps), and there is an article dated April 27, 2015 that describes the servers going down for "several days and will be offline for several more". While technically correct, 7 months is a long "several more". Avatron, if your app is going to be unusable for that long, you really should remove your app from the app store. At the VERY LEAST, you should disable the ability for customers to give you money for a subscription to a product that hasn't worked for several months. To continue to allow people to pay you for a known nonfunctional service is unconscionable.

How to use?

Tattooed Minion

Seems to be interesting but can you explain how to use? For now it's a 3!

Very Good Business Support App

pagerl

I bought this app and used it locally for the last six months on an iPad3 & MacBookPro and Thunderbolt Display under Mavericks (OS X 10.9) then El Capitan (10.11). I have felt confident enough in the App and it's support team to move to a iMac-27-5K and only use my iPad3 for remote wireless connection. Support works hard to respond and work though issues, especially if diagnostic logs are sent

Works every time!

I've used this app many times. I have it installed on an iPad Mini 1st gen (9.3), iPhone 6+ (9.3), and an iMac (10.11.4). Everything is connected by an Extreme connected by ethernet to an Express with an 8 port switch. I haven't used the app outside of my house, but it works perfectly fine. Ever since I installed the app I haven't had any issues connecting to my Mac.
