Best remote-access app ever

Angry Byrdz

This is the first VNC-ish app that seems to give a flying crap about how easy it is to get stuff done. Six stars.

Awesome app

Another polished, Apple-quality app from Avatron. Love the price: ya can't beat free. This is a really amazingly well polished app in a genre that tends to be kind of spartan where you need features, yet bloated where you don't. Other remote-access apps offer features like 16-bit rendering and codec choice. Seriously. Those are implementation details. I don't care how the app encodes the screen contents. Just make it look nice and update the screen as fast as possible.

App of the century

Roadless travelled

Cannot believe how user friendly this app is. Kudos to the amazing team who created it. I use it almost everyday.

Why can't it connect?

iRichardv

iPad App installed… Mac App installed… account created & logged in… devices showed on both side… mac icon tapped on ipad… Encrypting… Drawing… "Connection Reset, Lost connection with remote host." App quit, Restarted… Problem still… Really nice UI (worthy of 2 stars), really disappointed… btw, Mac OS/X 10.7.5 on MBP, iOS 6.1 on iPad mini, over the same WIFI router...

One of the best Apps I've ever used!

Extremely useful for anyone who owns a Mac, definitely a must-have. Works flawlessly on my iPad (3rd Gen.) and iPhone 4S.

I Tried But No Go

Rendering engine is amazingly good on those rare occasions it connects. (See iRichardv's review. Same experience.) I worked with the support folks for almost a month before they vanished. 2 stars for rendering. That is all.

Nope

Couisindupree

Downloaded and installed on iPad. Created account. Downloaded and installed connect app on Mac. Logged into account. iPad sees Mac Mac sees iPad. Time to connect......nope. "Connection reset: Lost connection with remote host" Have now tried three suggested fixes from their support.....nope. Can't connect. And this is simply on my local network, not a true "remote" connect. Air Login......nope.

save your money

Based on a good review on Macbreak Weekly I decided to try this app and the companion software for the mac. First of all, do not believe the statement on MBW that the IOS app is free. This claim is made on a video on the developer's web site as well and other review sites and obviously it is now $1.99 (perhaps to cash in on the reviews?) I thought the feature of having the menu bar pinned on the screen seemed worth the cost so I took the plunge. Learn from my mistake and save your money. I was able to connect for a moment to my imac and then it dropped. Now it is "offline" and nothing I do seems to bring it back. I was able to get to my MacBook Air multiple times, but that is not the machine I want to access. Another time I have had to spend money to test an app and find it is not worth the cost. When will I learn? I am running 10.8.2 on both machines and they are on the same wireless network with the ipad.

Great app w/ great support

Purdin

I installed the app after a review on MacBreak Weekly and it's awesome. I have it installed on multiple computers and even purchased the 1 year subscription. I had a question about running the app on a Standard account on OS X and they responded quickly and with a solution. Highly recommended.

Writing this on my phone but on iTunes on the Mac. A great and polished app
