Really nice fun strategy game. Losing a lot games to the void because there is no save feature. :-(

This is a game i will return to again and again for a long time. Mechanics and strategy are deep enough that I can't imagine mastering any time soon, yet simple enough to grasp quickly. I can play when i want solid strategy but can a so play when i am a bit tired and want to relax. Earning new cards slowly adds new y possibilities at just the right speed for me.

Wonderful interlocking systems. Deep but not too complex. Interesting emergent dynamics. Appealing graphics. Clean and easy interface. Can't stop playing. Unbelievable value for $2!!!

this is one of the best strategy card games i've played on ios. it gets better the longer you play as more interesting cards get unlocked that shake up the gameplay

Quite the fun title, has a fairly good balance between the card types and I enjoy the replayability.

Originally I purchased this game on Steam for $15. I hadn’t had much time to play it on my computer so I decided to see if it was on the App Store. To my surprise it was and for 1/3 of the cost than it’s equally fantastic PC counterpart. So I caved and purchased it on the App Store as well. After about 2 hours it asked me to rate the game. I almost never review a game that asks me to review it, especially without some sort of reward. Then after about 4 hours of gameplay it asked me again. I decided to just put “Remind me later.” After 6 hours of gameplay I’m finally writing this review. This game is fantastic. Easily a 15 dollar game. I have a few praises about the game, which I will be covering here. First praise, the card buying system. The way they do this is beautifully designed. After 100 gold coins which you get from wins or loses (vs human or AI) you can buy a card pack. This card pack system always rewards you with new cards and never duplicates. Which from a progression prospective is very very kind. The only problem I see is when you get all the cards gold will then become useless. Second praise, it’s a very unique game. Something that I’ve been waiting to find for a long time. It’s a game with plenty of strategy involved. Now I will mention a few things I wish to see added. DLC packs that add new characters and cards. (Recently they added one for free) I would gladly pay 1.99 for the DLC. I want to see extra uses for gold. Maybe a deck building system that allows you to purchase a set deck filled with (idk) 40 slots, that you can fill with cards you want to use during a match. This will help remove crummy cards that I always use as waste or to ruin. I also want to see more useful combos for waste and ruin cards. Right now it’s extremely detrimental to have cards ruined or used as waste. I believe from the cards I’ve unlocked there are about 5 that deal with ruined cards and or waste. I’ve still got 40 packs to open so maybe I just haven’t unlocked more. Also I would prefer if they added a game mode that allowed for added rounds. 4 rounds is great but I want to know what would happen with an extended game. One last thing to suggest, if they allowed card packs to be purchased even after you collect them all for duplicates at which point you could spend gold coins to upgrade duplicate cards, maybe this will give the card a culture point or something. Maybe this will be for every 2 duplicates you get?

It's rare to find a digital-exclusive game this excellent. Do yourself a favor and try it out.
