Needs notifications

I appreciate the centralized, streamlined nature of ActiveBuilding, but I do wish the app had better integration into my phone rather than just being a conduit to open the website. I never get notifications about any urgent posts on my building wall because I don't think it can do that. I haven't found a well-marked way if it exists. One of my neighbors needed a jump in the garage the other day around 10am and I didn't see it until the daily digest came into my email at 8:30pm, long after I would have been able to help. Notification integration would fix this issue entirely.

What a great app to use for residence of Waterwalk. It’s easy, communication is fluid and quick! I feel comfortable and secure knowing that I can privately message neighbors and or management when I need to!

This app is great for where I live. I have already received help from making a post and the management posts events and updates. Looking forward to making new neighbor friends with it. And the ease of checking and paying rent nice. And it’s maintained with my personal lease info. Very convenient and I recommend using it and all its features.
No mass delete?

You have to delete messages individually and the application is horribly slow. I click things and nothing happens, the app just freezes. I’ve logged into the browser based app and its the same thing so obviously a problem with their code. Now I’ll just go bother the leasing office directly when I need things.

This is a great resource for residents so that we are kept up to date on things happening within the community. With so many people with different schedules having it online makes it so much easier to check in than something on your door because that could always fall off etc... so please keep adding to it so we can keep informed.

This is a great so that is easy to navigate. I can see what's going on at my apartment complex and this is good for promote like me that are new to apartment living. However, I would like noticed there is not a notification button and that would be helpful when my apartment sends out alerts.

UPDATE: Been using app for a year and it has not improved in any noticeable way. This app barely works. The user interface gets “stuck” often. Typing into a field on the iPhone more often than not doesn’t work. When I submit a new service request the comments from the prior service request appear in the new ticket by default. There are several fields that read NULL on the front end. The ticketing system has no back-and-forth capability. You have to submit a new ticket to follow up on a related ticket. The way the balance reads on the payment activity screen is unintuitive and just looks downright wrong. For an application that is used for professional apartment complexes it’s really unacceptable.

I used this app for the place I use to live, and they stopped using it. The new place I will be moving into uses this app and when I try to log in it automatically reverts back to the other place. WTH!
