The app includes links to Know Your Rights information on what to do when you’re stopped by law enforcement, on filming police, and on protesting — as well as your rights at the Texas-Mexico border zone. You will receive regular notifications from the ACLU of Texas about issues and opportunities to get involved with work around the state. You will also be able to participate in and monitor interactions with fellow #ACLUBlue users on Twitter and share videos posted on the ACLU Blue Youtube channel.

Doesnt work for purposes of a pullover. Only activates back lens. Most car mounts leave the screen facing you and the interaction. Enable camera selection and fix the network and upload options to include icloud,dropbox, etc.

Can’t give this one star because it’s so important to have this tool. But the ACLU needs to find a better developer. See the ACLU Blue Twitter thread (and the first review here in the App Store) for some obvious criticisms. The first line on the description should read: “This is only for use in Texas.” I’m not in TX, and only after downloading and starting to use did I see “Only Available in Texas”. This could be great. ACLU, why don’t you put some of your financial and intellectual resources into it? Almost everyone has a smartphone now. This app could literally save lives.

Nothing happens when I use the test function, it just shows the camera and then the camera goes away if you tap anywhere. So no way to adjust focus. Seems way too easy to end a recording by accident. I would not trust this in a real situation.
