I bought this AFTER buying Ace Attorney 1, believing I was buying THE COMPLETE TRILOGY. I’ve made a note of your game company. Never buying from you guys again because of your tricks.

This is what got me into the ace attorney series. I liked the cases, but this port was frustrating. The graphics felt sloppy rather than enhanced. Sometimes, during a specific case, I couldn’t select something. So I had to skip the day. All that aside, it was a really good replacement for a 3ds at the time.

I remember buying the first Phoenix Wright game on the App Store ages ago. It ran flawlessly and was an amazing port. No stuttering. Today I tried to revisit this game. It seems they added options to buy all the other games now, but the games run so poorly! What the hell happened? If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. The original game was much better years ago. I can’t justify buying it now. It’s sad because I really wanted to re-experience it. Please fix the terrible lag.

The original games had the option to skip text, not sure why that didn't carry over...waiting for the typewriter during scene changes is agonizing! In addition the view achievements option in the menu does absolutely nothing. Other than that it looks great!

Played a the whole game! Amazing characters and I want more. Where can I pick up from where I left off!! Amazing story based game with twists and turns ?

A great port. Needs widescreen support and a way to skip text. You have to wait for it to fill the chat box. Also, don't make the onscreen buttons disappear when talking, and reappear after they're done talking. It's annoying and distracting.

This game was surely addictive when you start out. However when you get to the second trial when you investigate the murder of your boss. You get accused of being the murder and get to go to court again or do you? I have had my game completely deleted only to realize I now have to start over with the very first case even though when I restart the game it says I’m supposed to be on trial. This is why I give this game one star and don’t recommend the download.

I just download this app Tuesday April 26, 2018 and just downloaded the full Ace attorney: Phenix Write in app purchase yesterday. Needless to say, this app has been better improved in clarity and colors but, now the 2.5D main characters in a case seem not to fit the 2D backgrounds. I can see why they did this: to let the main characters feel more immersed and alive in the story which it does accomplish. I would say most reviewers on here don't enjoy the 2.5D characters since it ruins their nostalgic view from the original DS game however, This is a better port overall for the reasons listed above!! I do have one negative about this game which is it does get really laggy switching throughout the menus and trial days but, that's all. Overall, this is the same game as the original DS version, and except the the updated 2.5D characters and clarity is it really such a bad port?!? Great work Capcom!!!
