The app is extremely helpful in starting to manage sensitivities and meets a need. I hope ACDS continues to develop this as there is room for improvement. Some big opportunities: 1) allowing for users to indicate when one of the products on their safe list causes a reaction so they can exclude it (unless the formula changes again); 2) merging chemical sensitivity info with other allergy test results to issue better recommendations. (So if I have an allergy to macadamia nuts but my chemical sensitivity test results didn’t cover this, the app isn’t recommending lotions that have macadamia nut oil in them.); 3) showing which products have been evaluated rather than just those that are “safe”for me. (When products don’t appear in the app, I’m not sure if it’s bc they haven’t been evaluated or something else.) Thank you for this very useful app!

QR scanner ability

I would love the ability to scan the barcode of a product to determine if it’s good or not. This would be especially useful as formulas change per lot/batch numbers. Scanning a barcode of a questionable item would be a lot easier than searching through a list.

Why in the world would you restrict access? I finally find an app that I can filter products on my specific allergens but I can’t use it because I don’t have special codes I need to obtain from participating physicians.

I hate to say it, but I tested allergic to quite a few of the chemicals and I am simply grateful to have this app. It sure helps with not having to bring a binder with me everywhere I go to see if I am allergic to the products I purchase. This is going to be a rough life since I live in a world of daily chemicals used! Maybe in a few months, this app will have a way for me to scan an item that is sold and I will know immediately if I should purchase the product item or put it back on the shelf! Thanks and let’s see if I can make it through this sensitivity of mine!!! God bless this team of developers and gatherers for helping those like myself with chemical sensitivity! It has been a tough road for me and thankful for every result I get from Dr. Martin and ACDS Camp!

Helpful but incomplete

With my severe chemical allergies this app is a dream come true...almost. It only allows my doctor to add in some of my allergies which does not include my severe latex allergy. I’m ANA to latex so that’s a huge issue. Thus I first have to check this app for my chemical allergies and then contact the manufacturer of each product to find out if it’s latex free. Also as others have stated I’m not sure if items that are not on my safe list in the app are really unsafe or just haven’t been tested. It’s a start. Please keep working to improve this app. So many of us need it!

Doesn’t work with my codes

I have tried over and over to submit my codes. Always says there is an error. Several people at my allergists has also been unsuccessful. Contacted someone at the email listed. Was contacted back and told they were not CAMP. She was sweet enough to check codes for my allergies. Said the ones I was given were not correct and provided new codes. They don’t work either. I have spent thousand of dollars for testing and can’t get a good answer of what products I can use from anyone. So frustrated.
