Update more often

Allergic to air

I agree with many reviews here: a bar code scan to find products easily, notifications when new brands are added, is a product not on my list because it has not been reviewed or does it contain my allergen? I’d also like to see more higher end brands and “natural” brands reviewed.

Super useful but needs an UPDATE!

This app has changed my life, literally. I had no idea so many of the cosmetics I had been using for years was the main cause of my problem skin. I only buy products that are in this app and recommended for me which has been great but new stuff has come Out. there have been a few new brands over the last year or So that I find are great for my skin but aren’t mentioned in this app because they didn't exist when they built this app.

There’s a way to find out if the item is not on your list due to your allergies

You can search for any brand that has products in the database, even if none of their products are safe for you. If you search the brand and it doesn’t show up, then it isn’t in the database and you can then check the product ingredients.

Needs Improvement

App is an okay start but definitely needs some updates. It has basic bugs and errors like text not appearing in the search box as you type and erroneous “brands” such as “1” and “andy’s test product” As others have said, it could use a more diverse set of brands that includes higher end and natural options. I also wish it would tell you what ingredient in a product keeps it off your list. For example, I know a shampoo is in the database and one of my allergies isn’t specifically listed in the product ingredients. I’m sure one of the ingredients contains my allergen but I don’t know which one and would be nice to keep an eye out for it. A barcode scanner would be great for an easy way to search. The app is very limited, but can be helpful if you’re just starting out searching for allergen free products.

Useful App but needs work and updates badly!

This app is a great tool for helping to find skin contact allergen-friendly products and it seems to be updated for products regularly. Unfortunately, the base app itself is terribly out-of-date. There is little to no info beyond just the basic list of products (it doesn’t even mention whether it’s a list of safe or unsafe products), and the search feature is absolute garbage; I’ve typed products into it numerous times with no result, only to find that exact products on the list later. On a lesser note, the app is so outdated that it doesn’t support modern iPhone screen sizes, which doesn’t affect use much but is a bit annoying. Overall I’m glad this app exists, it just needs a little bit of attention to keep up-to-date.

It’s ok… needs a lot of improvement

This app is just ok. Would love a scan option. Also would love a way to report if a product has been discontinued. I’m having a hard time finding a shampoo and conditioner that I can get at a normal store. The one listed was discontinued. Now I have to buy it all online. Would like to see this updated every week as products are always changing.

Inadequate! Inaccurate!

Angelwispers

There are many products that I CAN use that are NOT on their limited product list. Additionally, some products that are deemed safe for me disappointingly have been discontinued! This APP needs to be majorly updated! Some Products that they say are “safe” for me to use, still have some ingredients that will irritate my Eczema. Big corporate companies seem to have bought their way into this APP. SAD!

Extremely Handy App

ChiKev

Was recently tested and I’m allergic to 4 allergens. The app stores the complex names of the substances, which I can reference when I need them, and also lists products that don't contain them as a reference when I'm shopping. You can even save a list of favorite products. This app is so handy and convenient. One suggestion for an update, would love to be able to list products that do contain the allergens as a quick way to know what to avoid.

Great resource

Love it! Would be great to be able to submit products for review.

Need more information

selprice

This app is helpful for knowing what you might be able to use, but when a product isn’t listed, there is no way to know if the product isn’t safe for you to use (because it contains one of your allergens) or if the product hasn’t been tested at all. Please add in a feature where users can view the whole database of tested products. Also, please add in a feature where users can submit products for review.
