Phenomenal game.

Batwomaned

Please make more, this is graceful and suspenseful. It encourages critical thinking and reading. I think you are a wonderful story teller and guide. The music is spot on. I can’t wait to play your games in the future. Thanx Skot! ??

More than just puzzles

???

I really enjoyed the storyline that went along with the puzzles. It drew me in and the whole experience was very enjoyable. Thank you!

Great story, puzzles, and Easter eggs

If you like enigmatic stories, difficult puzzles, and lots of hidden content, buy this game. Best indie of the year for me!

Pretty

Pretty and sad and fun game

Nostalgia

Able Black brings back the feeling of playing text based adventures. Not that there aren’t still hobby games, but the Able Black interface reminds me of the old Zork, which challenges the player to think in the parser’s interface. Felt good to beat Skot’s high score. I recommend this game if you like Infocom (though this is much shorter and more forgiving than those beasts), or atmospheric storytelling, such as Hugh Howey’s Wool.

Addictive

Thanks, Skot.

A deep and interesting story about what makes humans human

BertHubnip

It’s mostly reading with a couple dozen riddles and puzzles, and maybe a tad short, but it’s an incredible experience. The story is enthralling and will most definitely affect you emotionally if you’re into that kind of thing. I love philosophical stories like this and I’ll be ruminating on this one for a while

I’m speechless

Detectivesunday

I found this game while searching around for something to fill my free time. This was so much more than that. This game is so so so good, I desperately want to know where the story goes from here and I haven’t even uncovered all of the secrets yet
