Nostalgia – Able Black Review

Able Black brings back the feeling of playing text based adventures. Not that there aren’t still hobby games, but the Able Black interface reminds me of the old Zork, which challenges the player to think in the parser’s interface. Felt good to beat Skot’s high score. I recommend this game if you like Infocom (though this is much shorter and more forgiving than those beasts), or atmospheric storytelling, such as Hugh Howey’s Wool.
