FREE WITH ANTENNA BUT STILL NEED A CABLE SUBSCRIPTION

There are a lot of things in today’s world I don’t understand and one of them is why I would need a cable subscription to sign into a network that’s free to watch with an antenna. Why, you might ask, would I want to watch on my device if I have an antenna? Many reason but logistics mainly. I’m sure the bottom line is money and control. Maybe they’re afraid I won’t watch their silly (many) commercials. I won’t watch them using an antenna either so no loss for either of us. I remember (yes, I’m old enough) when cable TV was first mentioned it was going to eliminate commercials. That was why we were going to pay to watch TV. Just like most everything else, once they get a taste of profits it’s no holds barred!

ABC has decided to block screen mirroring

Since praying to iOS 11 and latest ABC app, ABC has disabled screen mirroring. For months, I have relied on plugging my phone into my TV with an HDMI cable to watch my favorite shows. Now, I’m left with only the option of watching my shows on my 4-inch smartphone screen. What a jerk move, ABC. What a jerk move.

This is just a suggestion that you should add to every show icon the next air date. It would be great to know when the show is playing. Other station apps have this on each show... thanks

App says need to update. Opens App Store. NO UPDATE AVAILABLE. Click open app. Back to the need to update message. Vicious cycle.

Terrible Overlay Behaviour

Hate the new version of the overlay on video playback. Why add a 1 second delay to it before it shows up after a click/tap? It may look cool but it’s total not functional. It always makes me tap it more than once which then makes it disappear. How about you design you system for users and not the designers?
