Good format, but...

I think this is a great looking app and I really like how the arrows take you through the strokes while you are writing to ensure proper formation. However, many of the letters are very different to what I am accustomed to in the US (no loops, etc). There is an alternative letter option where you can select different styles for some letters but they still are a little too different from US script styles.

This is not a badly designed app, but some of the letters don't follow the methods taught in our school. Letters including s, f, x, & w are completely different. There are slight differences with some others like n, m, p, q, etc. I wish we could use it, but this app will contradict his teacher's direction. Update to follow American cursive standards and I'll give 5 stars!

Joined up is definitely a British program! But I love the style better than what is taught in the US. Have learned it is fabulous for teaching children with diverse learning difficulties and can be introduced as early as preschool. None of my children have any trouble reading or writing cursive anymore! Thank you!
