Love it!

Haven't worked out in months due to a minor surgery. Today I decided today was the day to get back in to my workout! I selected an advanced class because I'm a bit crazy, but I made it. Excited for my next workout!!!

Offline listening

I am frequently out in areas without cell reception so the download for offline listening option is amazing. The variety of workouts is great and having the choices of music, time, and styles of workouts makes exercising super easy. Love this app! Totally worth the purchase!!

Best fitness motivation!

I’ve worked with a personal trainer before and this app is just as great (if not better) at a fraction of the cost! So worth it! Trainers explain everything clearly, provide motivation, take the stress out of coming up with a workout or thinking about what to do next, AND do it all with a great soundtrack. Now I walk around the gym like I actually know what I’m doing thanks to the little voice in my headphones. Plus, there are a variety of difficulty levels, workout lengths, and types of workouts- perfect for any situation; going to the gym, getting a little more out of your walk in the park, or taking a study break to get your brain flowing! I love this app, its genius!

Just what I needed!

Great workouts that are a no brainier! Good music too! SKYFIT helps eliminate all of my go-to excuses including not having a good playlist, not knowing what exercises to do, and not having a personal trainer. Look out 2017, I'm bringing sexy back!

Only app that makes a lazy girl WANT to work out

Beavisbeavissssssssn

I will admit I'm the last to say I love working out but if you give me 90s music, or Justin beiber with a trainer who is coaching me through my otherwise dull elliptical or treadmill workout it makes all the difference. I've never even written an internet review before. That's how grateful I am to this app. Thank you! If anything, more song options!!

3.5 with suggestions to make it a 5 star

I started using the app 5 days ago and I signed up for the 7 day free trial. I would like to preface this critique by pointing out that I LIKE this app (what I like is at the bottom), but first I have to share some things I learned as a user along with some suggestions that would make me LOVE it. As a new user trying to figure out the app's user interface was a little confusing. When I was searching for classes the descriptions were REALLY vague so I had no idea what I was clicking on. I was looking for something for a first time runner (I've never tried running before, dance has always been my cardio of choice) and I couldn't tell what was a beginner level class and what wasn't. When I went into the search filter it was hard to tell whether you had selected or deselected something without some trial and error. I ended up clicking on the Day 1 of the 5k training which turned out to include sprints (again total newb runner here) and it definitely wasn't the beginner class I was looking for. What I learned after lots of trial and error and 5 days of use: - The search filter page BEGINS with everything SELECTED AND HIGHLIGHTED, so when you click on something you are actually DESELECTING that option (so not highlighted means you deselected that option). There was no instructional text so I just clicked on the things I was looking for and ended up deselecting the exact search criteria I wanted in my search results. SUGGESTION: A beginner tutorial or instructional text on this page would be helpful. -I also noticed that after I walked/jogged my way through the Day 1 of the 5k training (my beginner skills couldn't keep up) that there are colors on the left hand side indicating level of difficulty. Green- beginner, Yellow - intermediate, Red - avid runner. SUGGESTION: Again, no instructional text to let you know what those colors meant or to even point them out so the user was aware they were there. -Before I had actually taken any of the classes when I clicked on "profile" it would just take me to the page with the directory of all the instructors. I thought it was a glitch, but then after I took 2-3 classes I clicked profile and I saw that they keep some stats from your classes stored and displayed on the profile page. Here I learned two things: there's a tiny heart in the upper left corner of each class so that you can "favorite" or bookmark a class (that comes in handy since the descriptions on the classes are so vague) and that the app itself does not actually track your distance. The Day 1 of the 5k training class says your total distance should be 3.7 miles, but since I walk/jogged and didn't sprint I really only did like 1.75 miles. The app was congratulating me for completing 3.7 miles and adding it to my stats, when it wasn't something I accomplished. SUGGESTIONS: build out a gps tracker for the running courses that's part of what I really love about other running apps, the "profile" page should say something when you first open the app like "we see you haven't taken your first class yet, get started and we'll show you your stats here" instead of redirecting to the instructor directory because that was really confusing, and tell the user about the hearts make sure they know they are there and what they are for WHAT I LIKE: This app is exactly what I have been looking for as a poor college grad. I absolutely LOVE group workouts but the memberships at a lot of studios really put a strain on my budget and my work schedule does not always allow me to attend. I love that this app has the trainers walking you through every step of the way, so far Rochelle is my favorite she keeps me motivated and likes to sing along and her playlist are always just right for the tempo of the work out. I get that same studio experience with more flexibility and better results for my wallet. I've tried training to run on my own before and couldn't seem to quite figure it out. Their classes for running take care of everything: music, distance, intervals. All you have to do is show up. As of right now I plan on keeping this app on the month to month plan. If I see some improvements in the user interface I'll switch to the yearly plan! Thanks you so much for creating the coolest platform for people who want that studio experience on demand!

Liked my workout but the app needs work!

Akaschnei

I had a lot of fun doing an elliptical workout with Rochelle. The music was motivating and I liked how she was encouraging throughout the workout. It made me feel like I was in a group fitness class in the comfort of my own home (well, garage)! However, I will say that the app needs work. The time/countdown didn't match up with the length of the workout I did; it was off by 33 seconds or so. The side menu buttons don't always match up with what happens when you tap it, e.g., when I tap "trainers" it takes me to notifications instead. All of the trainers' descriptions get cut off at the bottom. I agree with another reviewer that you should be able to download a workout so you can use it offline. Small details, but it does make me think twice before committing to a monthly subscription. It would also be cool if there was a social component, like friending other users or being able to challenge other people to different workouts. I'm excited to try it for at least another week - the potential is definitely there for this app! Update: After the most recent update, some of the buggy stuff has been fixed, which is great. I have been using this app for about a month now and I still enjoy the workouts. What I would love to see in a future update is the ability to turn the music off and still hear the trainer's audio, so that you can listen to your own music or watch TV while still getting a good workout in. Even having a list option that told you when to change the incline/resistance/intensitywould be great.

This app will get you in shape in no time! The motivating instructors and music is great! They really captured the feeling of being in a class. I rated the app 4 instead of 5 because I wish they would incorporate an actual training program for the rest of the workouts like they do for their 5k-marathon runs, so you can truly gage your progression. Also I'm currently doing the 5k program on here and it pretty tough for a beginner, as I consider myself an intermediate/advanced runner. I wish they had a few MORE customizable options to make it easier for any fitness level ( I wouldn't recommend this to someone just starting to work out), but overall this app provides great quality, workouts with a great trial period for you to really test it out, and is definitely worth $12.99 month. You won't need a trainer anymore! Update 9/18: Still love the app completed a spin worked with instructor Jessica. She's awesome! Suggestions- Can a cycling, and elliptical program for weight loss and conditions be made, like the 5k,10k, and marathon programs, so that users can have guidance and progression? Thanks!!
