Great game, can lose saved data

Robert Cantoni

This is a fantastic puzzle game. Be forewarned that switching devices can result in progress getting lost on both devices.

Fun....but backup issues

WolverineMan1288

Just lost 4 days of play time. Opened up game and the last backup available was 5 days ago. I’m not playing a couple hours over again.

Game rarely saves progress

TheRobotBuilder

I deleted this app because out of the 24 hours I spent on it, only 11 have saved. It is fun the first time but extremely frustrating to have to redo your work more than half the time. You are better off investing time on any other app - it is not worth the frustration. I spend 20-40 minutes a day and over half the time my progress is not saved. Even though many many others reported this problem here in reviews, developers keep blaming iCloud. I have over a TB free so it is not iCloud. I have tried many methods to force the game to save including loading back a bit before exiting; this method doesn't help. I have tried other methods such as modifying settings or going through mailboxes just before exiting and nothing forces the game to save. There is no known method to force this game to work. I have also tried to play on several devices, my main is my iPhone 12 Pro - all devices have the saving issue, the iPhone 12 pro seems to save least of all (this is the newest phone you can buy right now). Don't waste your time on this worthless app that the developers won't even consider has saving issues.

Fantastic open world puzzler

lumbauer

The open world concept is great, it lets you continue to make progress in other areas while you let puzzles you might be stuck on “marinate” in your brain for a while. Groups of islands (archipelagos?) each have their own visual theme and usually introduce a new mechanic to the puzzle solving. Sometimes when I return to a different “archipelago” I need to re-solve an island or two to remind myself of what the trick to that bunch of puzzles tends to be. The one downside, if you consider it to be one, of the open world system is that because each puzzle doesn’t have a clearly defined level number, it can be trickier to find hints online for those times that you are truly stuck. I’m glad it’s not trivially easy to get pointers, but after completing most of the game, I need something to point me to the right places where I could make progress- I believe most of what remains for me are interactions between multiple islands, and working out which ones I need to focus on seems to be more effort than my brain is up for.

A masterpiece! ??

This game has amazing puzzles that are difficult, and yet extremely relaxing! I am hoping to see an update for this game soon. -Drakenbones2002
