Reviews

Buggy. Couldn’t get past tutorial.
Hanoveur

It got to a point during the tutorial where it said I should end my turn, but pressing the hourglass did nothing. Skip this buggy game.

Great game when it doesn't hang
iammikeDOTorg

Which, unfortunately, is most of the time when playing against the AI. Once this is resolved, it is a 4-5 star game. Surprising this made it through their QA as I see it in more than 50% of the games I play.

History of world
Danbo1732

Great game. More like it

Excellent strategy game, strong implementation
4Ringa

I remember this being on of my favorite PC board games. Very happy to see it come back. The AI is very strong. The interface is great. The gameplay is good. A few minor bugs in the original version, but now frequent updates have resolved. Thanks Codito.

Excellent game with great AI
Robrob2

The only reason I am not giving this terrific game of world conquest over the centuries is the AI occasionally locks up. Kind of irritating twenty minutes into a game.

Struck at tutorial
verin mathwin

The app stops responding a few step into the tutorial on my iPhone 4S.

A Brief History of the World
Ccornaghie

A very good game, AI extremely competitive, easy to learn, commands simple to use, a great value, you will play this constantly!

Now fixed
JuggernautRide

Great game that is now mostly fixed after the new update. Solid AI play and both local and online multiplayer. Small text though as the game was originally developed for tablets

Good game now bugs fixed
Dalekx2

This is a really solid game. Fortunately most of the bugs have now been fixed.

Broken app is unplayable
Andrés Santiago Pérez-Bergquist

The UI looks slick, but I can't even get through the tutorial without the becoming unresponsive and leaving me stuck. I think it's some kind of layering issue with pop-ups that don't dismiss properly, and it could an issue with iOS 7, but the app is unplayable.
