It's exactly that - a top app. Not only is 5-0 Radio useful by providing local police, fire and EMT scanners, but it's one of the few apps that also provides entertainment value by providing an almost endless amount of bonus music, news/talk radio and a multitude of feeds categorized by genre. This allows for listening to radio talk shows that may not either air in stations locally or may only be available via web broadcast. Don't just go with the lite free version just to skip the fee. Pay to upgrade to the full version because it's definitely worth the change you'll spend on it. App ranks high in my top 5.
