Ask a Friend is intrusive

Update: I finally deleted this game after I realized that their picture-blocking, wiggling Ask A Friend icons were just stressing me out and the game was no longer enjoyable. —— I’ve enjoyed playing this game for a long time, but the Ask a Friend option has gotten ridiculous. First, there were icons that partially covered the right side of the pictures. I could live with that. Then, it changed so the icons wiggle every 20-30 seconds. I spend more time distracted by waiting for that stupid wiggle than I do thinking of the word game. As if that weren’t enough, the most recent addition is a large “ask your friends” button that sits right below the letters and stretches the whole width of the letter grid. I get it: the developers want the Ask a Friend feature to work like free advertising for them. Understandable. But it’s gotten in the way of gameplay and I find myself choosing other games to play most of the time because of it.

Quirky bugs/errors mean that I cannot go back and finish the daily bonus puzzles. Irksome.

I have enjoyed this game for years but it moved me into a super hard level a month ago and I can hardly get any of the answers. When I do..it’s only worth 4 coins. I didn’t mind watching all of the advertisements for extra coins which seemed to have changed a few months back. For last month a lot of the puzzles appear with only one or 2 pics and frequently no pics. This makes it very hard to try and guess at the answer. What causes that.? Thanks

So you’ve updated and now, no bonus points for daily 16 point games. What does it cost you for them? No incentive for playing? Then forced to watch an ad? NO! Unbelievable.

Exactly how LONG can an ad be?

It’s really ridiculous how long these ads have gotten. It was already bad but they just keep getting longer. So one clock goes out then there’s an arrow that you must touch - only for another clock of some sort to start. I know that ads pay the bills, but I just had an ad with 4 different clocks or waiting period before I could continue play - utterly frustrating. Just Ridiculous!!!!! I love this game but I’m using the app less and less.
