Just got the vacuum and previous app version. Only had the app for about 3 days and it updated. New features and colors. Missing option to readjust the room lines or border. That would be nice since it split some of my rooms into 2 rooms. Now the new app is very slow to respond to the vacuum. Pause and it takes a few presses. Then is says try again slot. After a minute it will pause. The map and lines of route seems to be slower in this version. I hope the next version corrects this. Love the vacuum cleaner. Can’t determine if it has a dust bin stop and clean mode. It gets full and I have to check it half way through cleaning. I would recommend the device. 5 star for sure if the app would be faster and had a few more adjustments. Cleans very well. Nov 2019 update. Been working with support. A few firmware updates. But the app is still having delays and timeouts. The room layout or what it thinks a room is still inconsistent. The sample picture of a perfect room is not what I get. There is hope if they get the app working. Feb 2020 update. Worked with tech support and the 6.5 seems to be working. Room layout changes and split or merge rooms is nice now. Now the battery is draining faster and support is aware. They seem to take feedback well and get changes in. 3 stars now. Keep up the changes and I’ll keep testing.
This vacuum does a phenomenal job cleaning. I have two large dogs and it does a great job getting dog hair. The app is a little finicky and doesn’t quite work all the time. Since the last update, my vacuum will run til the battery dies and not return to the charging station so I have to constantly pick it up. It also doesn’t pick very efficient paths to clean and conserve battery. I can tell they are trying to make this a good product but it isn’t quite there yet.
App logged me out as it does from time to time. Attempts to log back in give an error “network exception.” A few times it’s prompted for a captcha but there isn’t one on the login screen. Able to go through the reset password steps but same error attempting to logon with new password. I am able to log in to the 360 website from the reset email but that appears useless for operating my vacuum. Even an attempt to register a new account fails. All this attempted on Wi-Fi and LTE. It’s been a great robot vacuum but without the app it is useless. I guess it’s time to pay up for an irobot so there is support in USA.
The app works fine when connected, however, don’t lose your password. All attempts to reset are met with “Network Exceptions” for SMS reset requests and a blank page for “Try Another Way” attempts (presumably email reset). Also, it would great to choose the notifications received. It’s all or nothing, for instance, I don’t need to be notified each night when the device enters “quiet mode”. Also, would love the app renamed for EN users. Not sure if Apple App Store supports Multi-Language names, but it would make searching for it easier. Admittedly these two last items are trivial, but when you have the microphone, you say what needs to be said. Love the vacuum itself, just need the app fine tuned.
Times out almost every time, vacuum doesn’t follow schedule. Some labels in English on the map, others in chinese. A purchase I regret. Update: no, i’m not using the Chinese language anywhere on my phone, I’m using English only. And I have the latest version of the app 7.1.0, and the latest firmware on the vacuum. The app times out frequently.
Vacuum worked very well and I was happy. Then my internet updated to 5G and my app no longer worked with the vacuum. I would love to see the app updated to 5G so I can use it again.
The app is definitely a little glitchy, but overall this is an amazing vacuum. You have the ability to clean by room, send it to a certain area, schedule cleansing, use it like a remote controlled car! Does a great job cleaning too.
Had this vacuum for a while, and the app was always awkward and clunky, but I dealt with it because the vacuum worked pretty well when I could get it to run. For the past month or so I have been unable to get a single command through on the app. Every time I try to run the vacuum, it times out. It’s become entirely useless. Would not recommend.
