While the questions may seem challenging, they are right on track for first grade. I am a 1st grade teacher and these questions align perfectly with the common core expectations. I will recommend this to parents at conferences!

I think it should start off a little bit easier and then get harder as the child progresses in the program

Child must be able to read well! Mostly just quizzing with multiple choice answers from what I can tell. I'm removing the app, because I'm looking for something fun and interactive not so dependent on reading!
App keeps logging out by itself while being used

Every 4 or 5 minutes, the app logs out by itself while we are still using it. We have to log in and redo the whole session again. It is the pain in the as*. The questions are good though.
Too Hard - No Flashcards

I'm trying to find an app with flash cards to help my daughter read. This says there are flashcards but there aren't any. Also, all topics give multiple choice questions I didn't even know some of the answers. I have a master's degree! Too hard for a 6 year old.
Not what we were looking for

My 1st grader needs help with reading. Even the most basic and easiest problems to solve require reading multiple choice questions. Way over my child's head. We were looking for more sight words and phonics, not test taking.

So disappointing. Was looking for easy reading and fun. It was neither. Very misleading.
