This app would be good for a first grade student who was at or above grade level. This app is not a good resource for beginning of the year first grade. Possibly towards the end of the year is when this app could be beneficial for a first grade student. I looked at level one for each of the categories and there is no way that level one should be as advanced as it.
My son is enjoying this game but while playing I noticed a wrong answer. Pretty sure the vowel in 'myth' is the Y and not the M. I will have to play along more often to make sure there aren't a lot of mistakes like this one!
There was a time I kept getting the exact same question over and over again and there was a question how many planets are in our solar system and I chose 8 and they said it was the right answer but the right answer is 9. So I am going to only give you four stars and not 5.
It's a good learning tool for my future 1st grader- the only problem I have Is I wish I could adjust the time limit. 2 min isn't enough time to ask her the questions and leather answer 10 questions
It's nice but I don't like that we can't adjust the time limit. For a first grader to be able to read and answer more the a couple of questions is just not going to happen. Silly to have an uncontrollable time limit.
Kids can add players from different grades but can't seem to play against them. My kids would like to play against each other.
