The app listens even when it’s turned off. I watched one of the ghostbusters movies the other day and was randomly singing the song and I got a notification from the app with some of the lyrics a few days later. Wasn’t even asked for my permission to do this. Totally creepy. I hope this app fizzles out.

Very helpful app. I use it all the time and I highly recommend it for finding the names of songs. The only thing is if you want to listen to whole entire songs then you have to connect it to certain apps which is annoying. But otherwise amazing app.

Can’t remember the last time it actually identified a song, and 95% of the time it freezes while “listening”

This app is kind a good I do not really like it I hunted the song that I want it two times I was humming it exactly right then it said it had no results it’s not like I made a random tune up in my head or something this app tries a little bit too hard to make it seem like it’s the best I’ve ever but it’s really not sorry to whoever made it you have a really kind a good app

Oh i tried , I hummed the tune HOT BLOODED - by Foreigner and it was nearly spot on . The app froze . Went searching even thru 8 track tapes lol and didn’t come up with anything. I would be honest in saying that my great grandma could name tbat tune faster than sound dog . Sorry. I will stick with Shazam . And great grandma ??
Good at some things, not others

The app works great for recognizing songs from background music, radio, etc. but it’s terrible at figuring out a melody that is hummed, sung, or whistled. I almost always get a “we couldn’t find that one” - many times I am trying to find the title and composer of well-known classical “hits” because I’ e forgotten so many. If it comes up with any results at all, it tends to be Asian pop songs that (let’s face it) use simple sappy melodies. As an experiment I even tried humming, then whistling “Happy Birthday To You” - no results. Before you think I can’t carry a tune, I am a decent singer and musician.
Needs to find songs faster

It’s good at finding songs but there are sometimes where the song only goes on for 3 seconds and it’s needs to pickup songs faster and it regular picks up songs at 10 seconds please read this and at least try to make it better.
Search function needs help

The search function has gotten worse over time. Returns songs that are completely unrelated to the search.
