Good,Solid, and fair Process

The whole system is great when you know how to use it. Spend 35$, get free delivery. Tips are flexible and can be changed even AFTER the delivery has been made. Not happy with something in your order? Tap the refund prompt. Only want what’s in your cart and zero substitutes? Tap and check the no substitutes box. That’s pretty much all there is to it. The app does freeze sometimes but it usually adjusts if you close it, open it again and continue. It’s not perfect but it’s a good,solid,and fair process. I highly recommend it if you want to spend less money by physically staying out of Whole Foods.

The app is rather frustrating to use. Mostly the constant login prompts and the UI locking up when modifying cart contents. Also some bizarre rules, like for example, when ordering grapes the minimum I can order is almost $10 worth? Why do I have to spend so much on some types of items? Most of the time the shoppers are good. Sometimes they make troll decisions, like replacing vegetarian products with meat products, or regular items with some gluten free vegan specialty item that doesn’t resemble the original.

Could have just gone to the store...

In the time it takes to order groceries through this app, I could have just driven to the store, shopped, and returned home. Finding items is not straightforward and the filter function is worthless (not unlike amazon app). Further, the app freezes all the time. Too bad Good Eggs isn’t in PA:(

So now you’re charged a $5 delivery fee for 2-hr delivery on any order under $35 — ON TOP OF THE ANNUAL ĀMAZON PRIME FEE? I’m learning Amazon is much more about “bait & switch” / misleading advertising than providing good value & service. First the whole PRIME VIDEO farce; now this. Take a hike, Amazon.

Unresponsive often

It’s astounding to me that an app created by tech giant Amazon could be so problematic. App is often unresponsive requiring me to force close multiple times before functioning, or delete/reinstall entirely. It’s great once working, but would prefer that it worked 100% of the time.

Orders never arrive

I’ve had 2 of my orders in the app say they were delivered, but they never showed up. The other times a majority of the items selected are replaced after I submit payment.

Get Ipad OS app that rotates. WF much more expensive

horrible user interface no real communication w/ shopper until too late cannot pick alternative if not available. Whole Foods. prime now is extremely expensive. much more than the store prices. two cold chicken breast 13.00. What a joke. Amazon needs to look at instacarts app and copy. much better user interface and communication.

Can’t order anything!

I’ve been trying to order groceries for the last 2 hrs and the app keeps telling to check my connection. I’ve restarted my phone, internet, the app, etc. Still can’t order. please fix this!
