Too Bad – World War II: TCG Review

This game had a few things I liked and lots I didn't. The theme is different and the game is very well designed and I enjoyed the first campaign. But, you see, that's their plan. I farily easily won the first campaign but in the second you notice the AI has suddenly got lots of powerful cards, more action points than you, and more lives. By this time you only have a measly 30-35 cards and nothing beefy to put against this reinvigorated AI. So, despite what the developers contend, you HAVE to buy cards. And, the 5 packs are expensive. I know everyone these days has to brag about themselves to their friends but I don't play games that have Facebook connections at every turn and nag you to post to it. I want to play the game, not tell Jimmy how great I think I am. And, I don't play games that require you to be on line just to save a deck! I gave it 3 stars because they've done a nice job with the look and feel of the game and I enjoyed the game play but I deleted the game because I don't like Facebook in my face, the expense of the IAP's and the online requirement.
