This is the best app – Symbolic Calculator Review

This should be the built-in iOS calculator. I've never hit a bug (maybe I'm just lucky, so take that with a grain of salt), and I use this as my main calculator. It's great for paper-napkin stuff. Functions are stupid easy to make, you have a built-in backtrace that's easy to navigate, and you can replace just about anything you can think of with a symbol. But you don't have to. If it's not complicated, just scroll up. If it is, copy paste function done. Buy this app if that sounds cool.
