Decent – Death Blocks 2 Review

This game has good ideas and concepts, but the programming drags it down. The game suffers from severe lag. Whenever placing blocks, removing blocks, or killing zombies, the game is very slow. The lag also leaves players who join servers to be stranded in the air, unable to move. Movement joystick could also be changed to move to the player's thumb instead of staying stationary. Also, it's a bit touchy, with only two speeds, not moving, and fast. Fixing this would get the game 4 stars. To bring it up to 5, I would like to see: Ammo and guns more readily available and easier to attain. A mapmaker gallery. More block variety, especially in mapmaker. Flying mode in mapmaker. Bigger mapmaker areas. And some chat function allowing players to communicate. Overall, good concept, but just needs improvement. (Also, I understand that this game is new, so I'm giving you some breathing room, but these changes need to be made to be at the the top of the App Store) :)
