Needs performance optimization and better feeling controls – SCP-087 Mini Game Review

So this game is a nice version of SCP-087. If you don't know what SCP-087 is then google it. Google it and learn all about the wonderful SCP universe! There is another app on the App Store by the way that is the entire SCP wiki condensed into an offline database. I got that recently and it's awesome reading up on all the tons of cool SCP's. Anyway, back to the game. It's pretty scary. I like it. The only problems that I see is that the game seems to have a low frame rate (I'm on an ipad 3). Because of the low frame rate the game is constantly jittery. I think a bit better smoothing of the controls would help with this as well. My character practically leaps down entire flights of stairs when they should be able to take things slowly. I'm also not entirely sure what the need is for the blinking mechanic. Granted it showed how some scares are done as I went down the stairs, but blinking is more of an SCP-173 thing really. Either way, I think a few performance optimizations and some bug fixes would fix the majority of all problems. Speaking of bugs there were constant video glitches because of the low frame rate as well as almost constant sound bugs. Sounds begin to play and suddenly cut out, or you hear a fraction of a second of a sound and it stops. I understand the game isn't supposed to be predictable and is supposed to be scary and keep players on their toes, but some things are obviously just game bugs. Like I said, a few fixes to some issues and you'll have a 5 star game my friend. I'd REALLY REALLY REALLY like to see more horror games and especially more SCP games!
