When the app starts for the first time after installation, it reads your daily step count from the M7 motion coprocessor in your iPhone 5S which caches past 7 days worth of step data. The app shows this data correctly and accurately unlike as stated in a previous review. BeWalking uses this cached data from the M7 to start building its step history datastore so you start with 7 days worth of step history data from the first time BeWalking runs.
