Will not save! – Superbrothers: S&S EP Micro Review

I like what I've played of this game and would love to see more of it and get my full money's worth. Unfortunately, I've lost my save game progress three consecutive times. Very frustrating, suffice to say. I've uninstalled/reinstalled from iTunes; completed game chapters, seen my % completion being saved... But when I go back, it's square one all over again. I'm playing on an iPod (5th generation), running iOS 6.0.2
