Tried everything, won't play – TightWire Adventures HD Review

Have not been able to play it yet, on any of my family iPads. iPad 2 and a few mini's. will load logo screen then switches to black and plays music. Nothing ever shows on screen. Have rebooted, cleaned up space, deleted, then rebooted , then redownloaded and reinstalled from the store, same exact symptoms. All iPads are on latest 6.1.4 update. Game has not seen any updates in 18 months. It figures.
